05 · Brand Guide

How Coffin & Trout
looks and sounds.

Every piece we produce follows the Coffin & Trout brand system. These are the essentials, so the content stays on brand from the first post.

01 · The Brand

Heirloom quality, made in house

Family owned, fourteen time international award winning jewelry designer and Official Rolex Jeweler in Chandler, Arizona. Since 1984, every piece has been designed and manufactured under one roof, from sketch to CAD to hand finishing, with the intention that it will be passed down through generations.

Crafted

Quality stated plainly and proudly: D to F color accent diamonds, VS or better. Platinum 950, 18K gold, Palladium 950.

Timeless

Classic forms over trends. Square cut geometry, hairlines, monochrome restraint. Nothing disposable.

Personal

One of a kind pieces for singular love stories. A warm first person voice speaking directly to you.

02 · Logo

The logotype and the monogram

Coffin & Trout primary logo

Coffin & Trout monogram
Monogram · small sizes
  • Clear space equal to the height of the C on all sides.
  • Use the monogram alone where the full logotype would fall below about 120px wide.
  • Never recolor, stretch, outline, or add effects. Never place the marks over photography or gold fields.
03 · Color

Monochrome, warmed by champagne

Ink 900#0F0E0C
Ink 700#2A2825
Paper 50#FBFAF7
Paper 100#F4F1EA
Gold 400#C6AD73
Gold 500#A8894E
Platinum 300#D4D0C7

Ink on paper, with champagne gold as the single accent for eyebrows, hovers, and ornaments, never large fields. In practice about 90% ink and paper, 8% platinum hairlines, 2% gold. No gradients, no extra accents, and no Rolex green, that color belongs to Rolex. The jewelry photography carries all the color.

04 · Typography

A serif that speaks, a sans that whispers

The Essence of Eternal Love

We say

  • We and our, speaking to you. A family introducing its work.
  • Craftsmanship, exquisite, timeless, one of a kind, heirloom, curated, cherished for generations.
  • Short imperative CTAs: View Collection · Contact Us · Discover.
  • Product names: series first, then stones and metal. Interlace Radiant Cut Diamond and Platinum Engagement Ring.

We never say

  • Discount language: sale, deal, percent off, limited time.
  • Casual or hyped tones, exclamation pileups, emoji.
  • Vague superlatives. Quality claims come with specifics.
06 · Imagery & Rolex

Let the jewelry carry the color

  • Macro jewelry photography: warm neutral light, high polish, shallow depth of field, dark velvet or light seamless backgrounds.
  • No stock lifestyle clichés, no illustration, no patterns or textures. No emoji, anywhere.
  • Rolex and TUDOR content stays visually and editorially separate from Coffin & Trout jewelry, uses only Rolex supplied imagery and approved model names, and never carries pricing or promotional language.
  • Anything touching Rolex is flagged for client approval before it publishes.
